Directions to the KITZ corporation

ACCESS TO HARROGATE:

By train - there are numerous connections from all directions to HARROGATE Railway Station. LEEDS and YORK are the nearest main railway stations.

By Airplane - LEEDS-BRADFORD is a 30 minute drive, MANCHESTER is approx. 90 minutes. There is a MANCHESTER AIRPORT EXPRESS connection to/from LEEDS.

By Car - HARROGATE is well connected to the Motorway and A-Road network.

  • From the North-east England, eastern Scotland: A1 South down to turnoff for A59 (Knaresborough, Harrogate, Skipton, York)
  • From Cumbria, western Scotland: M6 turnoff at KENDAL (The Lakes), then A65 via SKIPTON onto A59 (East) HARROGATE
  • From Lancashire, the West: M6 onto A59 (East) at PRESTON, follow direction to Skipton. On entering HARROGATE you reach the intersection with the A61 - there you follow the signs for town-centre. You will reach town-centre at the HARROGATE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTRE. At the traffic-lights turn RIGHT and follow the road and signs for VALLEY GARDENS. CORNWALL ROAD is on the northern side of VALLEY GARDENS.
  • From Wales, Cheshire, Manchester: access the M62 (East) to LEEDS. M62 J27 will have signposting for HARROGATE (A61 North). Follow the A61 through parts of Leeds past HAREWOOD HOUSE. The A61 goes straight into town-centre. Follow the signs for VALLEY GARDENS which are west of town-centre. CORNWALL ROAD is on the northern side of VALLEY GARDENS.
  • From the East, South: access the A1 (North) turnoff A59 (Knaresborough, Harrogate, Skipton, York). Follow A59 (West) to HARROGATE. Follow the signs for VALLEY GARDENS which are west of twon-centre. CORNWALL ROAD is on the northern side of VALLEY GARDENS.

PARKING: Visitors can find Visitors Parking at the main entrance to WINDSOR HOUSE.
